To work for the marginalized deprived youth of rural areas to make them useful citizen of society by providing them ways of finding their means of respectable living through Jobs / self employment by acquiring basic Information Technology education, awareness for job hunting, and motivation towards learning of marketable foreign languages.
SITARA team has recently developed a four course modules on basic education digital models for pre primary classes. The modules are developed in audio / video methods of presentation for Sindhi, Urdu, Basic Math and English subjects. We assume that these courses would be useful for young and adult learners . The modules are developed by SITARA team on self help basis to promote digital education concepts where quality teachers in shortage.

March23: The Pakistan Science & Engineering Foundation (PakSEF) has
agreed to endorse the Society of IT Awareness in Rural Areas (SITARA).
PakSEF will help co-sponsor one IT center by December 2006, and will assist
in publisizing the project.
